  • About The Role

  • Reporting to the Head of Generics, with responsibility for monitoring regulatory compliance with particular focus on own label products supplied under manufacturer licenses. The key function of this role is to minimise the risk to the Own Label business by ensuring a high level of regulatory compliance, supporting regulatory submissions, ensuring product safety and labelling compliance.

    Controlling all elements of artwork for all packaging under the Hillcross brand.

    This is a 9 month Maternity Cover role!

     

    Accountabilities

    • Perform Regulatory Affairs activities in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements of the MHRA, including but not limited to the approval and ongoing maintenance of Own Label products.
    • Revising Technical Agreements and other compliance related documents for distribution and sign off by all suppliers.
    • Attendance at all Project progress meetings to report on the artwork, submission and approval processes.
    • Liaise effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to support the timely introduction of new products to market.
    • Support Generic Buyers to identify new product opportunities for the Own Label range.
    • Day to day management of effective processes to deliver fit for purpose artwork/packaging solutions for the business and customers.
    • Support Generics Category Team throughout the process of launching product on time and efficiently.
    • Manage packaging critical paths in conjunction with Suppliers processes and packaging refreshes.
    • Ensuring that packaging meets customers’ expectations whilst adhering to regulatory and quality requirements.

  • About You

    • Experience working in regulated product markets
    • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and fluid environment.
    • Degree educated or higher
    • Solid understanding of relevant regulations in relation to packaging requirements across a broad product range
    • A fundamental knowledge of print processes
    • High level of decision-making regarding process issues, printing approval and product approval during the own brand process
    • Commercially aware
