  • About The Role

  • Provide the best-in-class analytics to support Commercial team members with insight and recommendations to improve the Wholesale business performance.

    Accountabilities

    • Understand the value drivers of the product category/ customer channel of the business and provide the analytical support required to identify profitable commercial opportunities
    • Produce automated dashboards for monitoring performance and tracking of initiatives
    • Provide detailed reporting in formats such as Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint, to educate stakeholders on KPI’s, product performance, customer performance and order method analysis
    • Pro-actively analyse data and use the insight generated to influence commercial decision making
    • Work closely with Commercial team members to ensure day-to-day decisions are optimal and deliver insight and recommendations to support alternative decision making when appropriate
    • Validate and challenge pricing strategies to ensure the commercial function is maximising profit for all Wholesale business units and all product categories
    • Convert analysis into an easy-to-understand presentation and lead the presentation of findings to stakeholders
    • Play a critical role in weekly and monthly commercial meetings, by analysing the data beforehand, present financial performance updates, share insight with team members and action queries after the session

  • About You

    • Previous experience within a data and analytics role
    • High quality analytical skills and Intermediate proficiency in data visualisation software such as Tableau/PowerBI
    • Skilled at interpreting data and responding to it, finding opportunities to improve sales
    • Good commercial acumen
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
    • Good English verbal and written communication skills
    • An excellent communicator
    • Confident with stakeholder relationships by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
    • Can deliver in a fast-paced Commercial environment
    • Strong time-management skills
