  •                                                                             FLT Driver

     As a Forklift Driver, you will play an essential role within the branch support function helping us to be the largest distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to our customers.

    Part of Despatch team, loading/unloading vehicles, moving stock and communicating with drivers and other team members to ensure deliveries are made accurately and on time.

    Permanent Contract – immediate start available.

    Full time role, up to 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week.  14:00 to 22:00 (shift start and finish times may vary)

    £12.21 Per Hour (14:00 – 20:00) and £14.14 (from 20:00) plus benefits including:

    • Accountable for operating the reach/counterbalance forklift
    • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
    • Inspecting maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

    Basic qualifications & Skills required:

    • PPT (T20) licence and experience is an advantage, but not necessary as training will be provided
    • (Either an FLT Reach/Counterbalance license with a willingness to train for the opposite license if needed)
    • Willingness to train for more MHEs: Counterbalance, Reach Truck, VNA.
    • Clear communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Effective team player
    • Previous Warehouse experience and a sound understanding of warehouse operations
    • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
