  • Backshift Warehouse Supervisor

    Join our team as a Backshift Warehouse Supervisor where you will be an integral part of the leadership team distributing pharmaceutical and healthcare products to our customers and patients.  Be part of a team that really makes a difference and feel valued for the work you do!  It’s not just a product but a patient.

    Permanent Contract – immediate start available.

    This is a full-time role, of 39 hours per week, 5 days per week shift 14:42 to 23:00 (shift start and finish times may vary)

    As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be required to work every 3rd Sunday, 8am - 12.30pm, on a rotational basis

    As one of our Warehouse supervisors, you will have a busy and active role:

    • Lead and coach your team to ensure productivity and KPI’s are being achieved 
    • Plan and manage designated resource to undertake the day to day work to achieve service levels and key branch performance targets within employment costs
    • Ensure the safe operation and upkeep of all warehouse equipment and maintain high standards of health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the branch
    • Ensure the operation adheres to Standard Operating Procedures within the branch to ensure compliance with statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies, GDP, MHRA and to retain the branch ISO quality accreditation 
    • Make decisions which positively affect all aspects of branch performance that are aligned with our values
    • Ensure an excellent customer experience is provided at all times

    Basic qualifications & Skills required:

    • Clear communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail 
    • Ability to prioritise and manage workload 
    • Previous management experience
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Effective team player
    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Previous Warehouse experience and a sound understanding of warehouse operations
    • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements 
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment 
    • Truly committed to customer and patient services
